Privacy

booui is a static catalog. Browsing it requires no account, and nothing you do in the catalog — searching, filtering, comparing — is stored in your browser.

What the forms collect

The catalog has two forms: "Add a system" and the error report in the footer. They send only what you type — the system name, its URL, the optional GitHub and Figma links, your comment, the interface language and, for error reports, the page address. If you leave an email address it travels with the text of the message so that a reply is possible.

Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and copied to the site owner by email through Resend. Beyond those two services, which store and deliver the message, submissions are not published, sold or passed to anyone, and they are used only to update the catalog and to answer you.

To limit abuse, the form stores a salted SHA-256 hash of the sender's IP address instead of the address itself. The raw IP is never written to the database, the hash is never shown to anyone, and it is used for nothing except counting submissions per hour.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request and your IP address. Most catalog screenshots are served from this site; the rest are fetched from the WordPress.com mShots service, which likewise sees your IP address. Hosting is Cloudflare Pages, which processes request metadata under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Removing your data

Write to [email protected] and name the submission; it will be deleted from the database.
